Eileen M. Travis is a fiber artist that creates work inspired by the natural world, working primarily in yarn and other fibers. Through her work, she honors this legacy of knowledge passed down, while pushing the boundaries of what crochet or fiber art can be in contemporary art contexts.

As an avid gardener and Landscape Architect based in Northampton, Massachusetts, Eileen brings a deep understanding of the natural world to her fiber work. Her practice allows exploration of texture, pattern, and growth in both the garden and the studio, finding inspiration in the natural systems around us throughout the seasons.
