This 2025 project was asked to be part of the inaugural event by Easthampton City Arts (ECA) entitled ‘Art in the Garden’ in Easthampton, MA.  The location was a private residential garden which was opened to the public for the day of the event. Although the scale of the installation (approximately 8’ x 8’) was much smaller than the original Poppy Field (20’ x 40’) it was still a representation of a field of poppies.  It was a wonderful intimate location amongst the beautiful hosta garden. The piece fit perfectly nestled within a small grassy area surrounded by a rock border. Each poppy was sewn onto a small stake and thoughtfully placed within the grass area.
