This project was requested to be part of the 2022 Veteran’s Day Community events at Fort Adams State Park located in Newport, RI.  The Poppy Field was installed at the entrance to the National Historic Landmark Fort located on Newport Harbor.   It was a breathtaking location overlooking Newport Harbor and the docked tall ship, SS Oliver Hazard Perry. The piece was in high contrast to the green lawns and the existing historic stone walls of the fort and for the first time was illuminated at night.
