Many years ago I met London Kaye at Vogue Live NYC.  London is a crochet artist, author and yarn bomber.  Her work has inspired me to put artwork out into the community and be unafraid. 

I had for many years a gate on my driveway.   I decided that this would be the perfect area for placing yarn creations.  My first one was a heart I put up on that gate for Valentine’s Day for my husband.  I wanted to surprise him when he got home.  I worked on the piece in secret and he was surprised!  So it was all about changing the pieces during holidays or seasons.  Snowflakes in winter, tulips in spring, sunburst in summer, the word VOTE in October & November, and many more.  

I am now in a different home and keep wondering where and how I can display these pieces and come up with new ones as well. Maybe a garage door?
