The Heart Panel was created for display at The Dutchess County Fair in Rhinebeck, NY.  The Fair directors wanted what would be called a selfie wall, but ended up being a wall of three pieces of art that visitors could take photos in front of, by themselves or with others. 
The heart shape was chosen by the artist to show her love of and connection to the Fair.  The piece which measures 8 feet high and 12 feet wide contains crocheted hearts of different sizes and colors to fill the canvas. Many of the hearts have been crocheted with two or three strands of yarn together creating a variety of colors or textures in the piece.
