In 2026, the Love Your Library banner was created for the Forbes Library, Northampton, MA to hang in their gallery during February, which is Love Your Library Month. I wanted all the visitors to the library to be aware that February is “Love Your Library” month.  Hearts were the natural choice for the form of the artwork which proudly professes its love. The hearts were crocheted in different sizes and colors to cover the banner.  The colors selected for the small rows of hearts at the top of the banner were taken from the Forbes Library logo.   The Forbes Library logo was stitched in felt and embroidered and placed in the top corner of the banner.  

Libraries are such a vibrant and important part of any community. We should all support our local library in any way we can!
