The Color Studies were done originally as part of a larger yarn bombing piece. The squares have been reimagined several times and have finally evolved into the current piece in 2025. The artist has always been interested in color and how the eye perceives graduated colors in sequence, light to dark and dark to light. The artist is interested in how graduated color progression plays with the perception of size. The Color Studies are inspired by the work of Josef Albers.
