In 2025, the artist created this piece to embody her idea of home. Home, or the feeling of home, can be so many different things. It is the strong relationships you build and create with family and friends through everyday life together.

The crochet-covered tree is at the heart of the house's structure, and the artist and her husband's initials are carved with yarn into the trunk, laying the foundation for this work's outward expression of love and its exploration of what home feels like. The tree is adorned with crocheted birdhouses, keys belonging to the artist and her family from throughout their lives, and 35 hearts, one for every year of marriage.

This expression of home honors the past, yet looks to the future with a crocheted robin and nest with three felted eggs.
